Delighted to say that todays Full Council meeting took place in The European Commision - Directorate F - Health & Food Audits & Analysis building in Kiltale. A fantastic venue for such a meeting. It was a great meeting.

My contributions were:

🔸speaking on increased local Authority work and support for RathChairn, Baile Gibb and the Irish language. Being the only Gaeltachts in Leinster it is vital that close cooperation exists between all agencies tasked with supporting our language. Having been a member of the Economic development Forum for the Meath Gaeltacht I have had the opportunity to work with all agencies in developing the Economic Plan. Now is the time to see it delivered. (More on this later ). Comharchumann Ráth Chairn.

🔸I raised a question on phase 2 of Connaught Grove housing scheme. Asking when we expect to see developments. The response was Q2 of 2024.

🔶Proposing Meath County Council new Climate Action plan. A significant and vital pathway to future proofing our communities. ALL future funding will be linked to Climate policy. I am delighted to have the chance to work closely with Meath County Council Climate Action team and Climate Action Forum on this plan.

🔶supporting Cllr Ashling Dempseys motion calling for Salt Bins at schools and public locations.

🔶 I thanked all my Cllr Colleagues, management and staff of Meath CoCo for their kindness and support over the last week. Without exception great people
